Ineffective sanctions against Russia
Many Ukrainians consider the Western embargo against Russia to be ineffective.
90% of the electronic parts used in Russian armaments are produced by countries applying the embargo on the Russian economy. This shows just how difficult it is for Western countries to enforce economic sanctions against Russia. The main reason is the lack of control over the production chain, with numerous subcontractors in many countries involved in the manufacturing process. As a result, Russians pay high prices for electronic components, but still have access to them.
This demonstrates two things: neither Russia nor Ukraine can wage war without Western technology. Finally, the failure of Western countries to enforce their own sanctions is seriously damaging their credibility.
